Ok, so I know I'm terribly late, but Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby Bradley!
32 years ago, we were born in Seton hospital, Austin, TX, 4 hours apart. Our families sat out in the waiting room drinking coffee together. Little did they know, their little bundles would grow up and marry each other!! Hope your day is as wonderful as you are babe!! Love you!

9 years!!

My goodness...how time flies when you're having fun!  Today, Brad and I have been married 9 years. For the record, we have moved 9 times, have together had over 15 jobs and have been blessed with the most beautiful 2 girls anyone could ever ask for. Thank you, Lord, for carrying us through this magnificent, often scary, yet extremely joyful journey. We are eternally grateful you brought our paths together.  We learned very early on that, we may not have it all together, but together we have it all. :) So, here's a little mini storyboard for "The past nine..."

Katelyn's Dance Recital

Yay! We finally had our end of the year dance recital! It was wonderful and such a thrill for me to get to watch Katelyn (and be a 'backstage' mom!). I remember so many dance recitals growing up and it was more fun to watch Katelyn and all those sweet little girls have fun on stage as it was to get to perform as a little one! Katelyn was so focused and did beautifully! She has a natural grace about her and I was mesmerized by her presence on stage. I had to keep reminding her to smile and try to RELAX - she was SO intense...that's MY girl!

Happy Easter!

Thanks to Jesus, we have a reason to celebrate Easter - the resurrection and new life we are promised through him. We had a wonderful Easter and celebrated not the Easter bunny, but Jesus and the gift He brought us. We did hunt easter eggs three different times, eat tons of sugar and spend lots of quality time with our families. The girls were exhausted by the end of the weekend! Here are a few pictures:

Bluebonnets!!!

Well, after a very wet winter, the bluebonnets are out in full bloom! We enjoyed them at Nonn and Poppa's house this past weekend. Easter just has an extra special feel when you're surrounded by so many beautiful works of art!

Big Girl Bed!!

We transitioned Kara into her big girl bed this week!! She did remarkably well and is so excited about being able to get up and out of her bed on her own! We are excited too so that we dont have to hear, "Mommy, I'm up, come get me!" blaring from across the hall early in the mornings! We are using my old bed from when I was a kid, so that makes it extra special!

Home from a great trip!!!

We arrived home last night after a fun week in Virginia visiting Jason, Michelle and baby Kerrick. It was so wonderful to see them and have our girls interact with baby K! We went to the Aquarium, saw Virginia Beach, painted pottery and got to re-visit Williamsburg - and our favorite place, the Yankee Candle Co. Brad and J got to go fishing several times and B caught a huge striper! The girls were thrilled to get to fly on an airplane and did remarkably well. They are such awesome little people and I'm so proud of them!! I loved getting in some snuggles with the little guy - and it was so hard to put him down. They are only that small for a blink of an eye. We were sad to leave, but know that J & M & baby K are doing great and the Lord is watching over them!! Here are a few pics:

Happy Birthday, Kris!!

Happy birthday to my little brother, Kristopher!! He's 25 today!! We were fortunate to be able to celebrate with him and our family this past Saturday. Woo hoo!! Love you brother!!! You are awesome!! I'm so grateful for you and Kayla :)

SNOW!!!

Wow! We had the strangest day - It snowed all day long!! I can only remember seeing snow like that once in my entire life living here in TX. It was really a treat! I took Kara and Addi (my friend's little girl we were watching) outside and they didn't know what to think about it. Kara was ready to come in after a few minutes - she was too cold! We picked up Katelyn early from school and came home for naptime - then, snow time!! Here are a few pics:
