Latest hats!!

Ok...here are the latest (and greatest so far) hats! Thanks to Mr. Eric and his wife and my friend Maureen for asking me to make these for them! YAY! I finally figured out the sizes for little kiddos...the 2 on the left are for babies and the one on the right is for a 3 year old. They are so much fun to make and even more fun is seeing the little kiddos wearing them!

Hats, necklaces and such...

Sooo...after some major encouragement from some sweet gals over Christmas, I decided to give a shot at crocheting hats and selling them to try and make some extra $$. I thought...no way I can make a hat! BUT, the Lord gave me the patience and tools to learn, and wa-la! I've made 5 hats! I also made a few photo necklaces...They are my fav! (Sorry if you see these before they get to you Michelle!) After several requests...here are a few photos of them: (Please try to ignore the fact that we are all in our jammies ready for bed!)

A Visit to the Dentist

So today, I took the girls to visit the dentist - This was pretty routine for Katelyn, but a brand new experience for Kara. They both did GREAT!! Katelyn did have a couple of cavities, but the Dentist assured me it was b/c of the development of her rear molars and not due to bad brushing. She also said it looked like she was pretty close to losing her first teeth. EEK! I think that will be Daddy's department. I dont do so well with that - give me poop, vomit or anything else but THAT! In any case, she was very brave, conquered her fears and even got the x-rays! Kara made friends with all the staff and patients waiting...she is such a social bug! I was SO incredibly proud of them both!

Shout out to my UMHB Girls!!!

Every year, some of my dear friends from UMHB get together in Belton and have an annual "ornament exchange." This is our time to catch up on whats been happening over the past year. I love these girls and love our time together. Here are a couple of pics...too much fun!!! I wish it was more than just once a year! :)

Happy New Year Everyone!!  Sorry I'm a bit late with this, but I really didnt have a whole lot of anything worth posting...till my Uncle Matt sent me this precious video of his visit here...and his time with Katelyn and Kara. He's such a great Uncle, always willing to play, so patient and so FUN! The girls absolutely love him, just like I do!
